Course Overview

The AHA’s Heartsaver courses are designed for anyone with little or no medical training who needs first aid and/or CPR training and a course completion card for job, regulatory (e.g., OSHA), or other requirements.

Heartsaver courses are also recommended to be taken by anyone who wants to be prepared to act in the event of an emergency. Either at our location, or yours, DTAC can provide the full resident courses* or provide the hands-on skills session evaluation for online/blended learning students.

*All resident AHA courses include Bloodborne Pathogen/Step The Bleed modules

Course Outline

Any individual looking to become a more complete responder needs to have adequate and effective medical training. You may not always be able to get into the fight but you can always help patch the wounded. There are many places or instances where you can’t bring a gun but you can always bring bandages! Afterall, if you are willing to end a life, you must be more willing to save a life.
