MEB Expandable Baton

This course is designed to instruct students through lecture and practical exercise on the techniques and proper use of the Monadnock Expandable Baton (MEB) according to either the MEB Basic Course1 or MEB Advanced Course2 curriculums.

This course is available only for law enforcement, military, security, and corrections personnel.

Course Overview

This course is designed to instruct students through lecture and practical exercise on the techniques and proper use of the Monadnock Expandable Baton (MEB) according to either the MEB Basic Course1 or MEB Advanced Course2 curriculums.

Note: The student should be able to get up and down from standing, kneeling, and prone positions, as well as move forward, backward, and laterally. While the course is not intended to be overly-physical, a student’s level of physical fitness can impact quality of experience.

1 (minimum of 4 hours required for a first-time user)

Students will be required to demonstrate the minimum acceptable performance standards for each skill presented, as well as basic knowledge of the material in order to be certified in either the MEB Basic or MEB Advanced Courses.
