Marksmanship can be a perishable skill, but many factors exist that may impact an individuals ability or willingness to train. Live-fire ranges can be adversely affected by issues such as weather or availability. Due to concerns over safety (with which we totally agree) live-fire ranges are frequently limited in how dynamic firearms training can be.
For some, live-fire ranges can provide a level of “performance anxiety” in new users, intimidated by training in front of others. In addition, with issues such as cost and availability, ammunition may need to be reserved for times of necessity. That is where a virtual range comes in.
